About the School
St. Peter’s N.S. is a co-educational Church of Ireland primary school situated in the heart of the historic town of Drogheda. The school currently employs 4 class teachers, learning support teacher and a shared resource teacher. It was originally opened in 1896 and retains much of it’s period charm, having been renovated in 2015.
In our school pupils experience a sense of caring and belonging, where moral values such as honesty, truthfulness, justice, fairness, sensitivity to others, and civic responsibility are nurtured and protected.The work of the school is conducted in an atmosphere of tolerance and respect for religious differences. Though St. Peter’s N.S. is a protestant school the enrolment policy of the school allows for children of other faiths and none to enrol. We pride ourselves on our commitment to Anti-Bullying and participate in Green Flag, Active Flag and Science and Technology Awards. Please email the school for enrolment forms.
